Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
