A Sign for them is the earth that is dead: We do give it life, and produce grain therefrom, of which ye do eat. 33 And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein. 34 so that they may eat its fruit, though it was not their hands that made this. Will they not then be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind and of what they do not know. 36 And [of Our sway over all that exists] they have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day - and lo! they are in darkness. 37 And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 38 And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf. 39 The sun shall not outstrip the moon, nor shall the night outstrip the day. Each is floating in an orbit. 40 Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark. 41 And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride. 42 and if We will, We drown them, then none have they to cry to, neither are they delivered, 43 Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while. 44 And when it is said to them, “Beware of what is before you and what is behind you, in the hope of your gaining mercy”, they turn away! 45 And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it. 46 And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allah has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allah willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error." 47 And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful? 48 [And they are unaware that] nothing awaits them beyond a single blast [of God's punishment,] which will overtake them while they are still arguing - [against resurrection]: 49 And they will not be able to make a disposition, nor to their family they return. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
