Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
