The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to those that deal in fraud,- 1 Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. 2 but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce! 3 Do they not think that they will be called to account?- 4 [and called to account] on an awesome Day 5 when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Indeed, the record of the disbelievers is in the lowest place, the Sijjeen. 7 How will you comprehend what Sijjin is? 8 A written record. 9 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies, 10 Those who deny the Day of Judgment 11 and none cries lies to it but every guilty aggressor. 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." 13 No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts. 14 On the Day of Judgment, they will certainly be barred from the mercy of their Lord. 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 Then it will be said: 'this is that which ye were wont to belie.' 17 But, the Book of the righteous is in the 'Illiyoon. 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 The record is a sealed text. 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 You will recognise the freshness of serenity on their faces. 24 They will be served a drink of the finest sealed wine, 25 The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire. 26 And it is mixed with Tasneem. 27 A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And wink one to another when they passed them; 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 and when they saw them they said, 'Lo, these men are astray!' 32 though they were not sent to be their keepers -- 33 So today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers, 34 On high couches, gazing. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
