Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
No! I swear by that you see 38 And what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
