Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 high above? 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
