Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
