The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
