And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
