The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
