Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
