But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
