What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
