Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 be toiling and worn-out; 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 The while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring, 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They will live in an exalted garden 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 raised couches, 13 And goblets set at hand 14 And cushions ranged! 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 What, do they not consider how the camel was created, 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 how the mountains are set firm, 19 And the earth – how it has been spread out? 20 Therefore remind, you are only a Reminder. 21 You are not a warden over them, 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 Indeed only towards Us is their return 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
