Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble recorders, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
