Say thou: call upon those whom ye assert beside Allah. They own not an atom's weight either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any partnership in either, nor is there for Him from among them any supporter. 22 Intercession with Him profits not, except for him whom He permits. Until when fear is banished from their (angels') hearts, they (angels) say: "What is it that your Lord has said?" They say: "The truth. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." 23 ۞ Say: Who giveth you provision from the sky and the earth? Say: Allah, Lo! we or you assuredly are rightly guided or in error manifest. 24 Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do." 25 Say: Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing. 26 Say, “(Dare you) Show me those whom you have matched with Him – never! Rather only He is Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise.” 27 We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. 28 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 29 Say thou: the appointment to you is for a Day which ye cannot put back for one hour nor can ye anticipate. 30
