Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
