By no means! By the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the sinners. 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And used to deny the Day of Justice." 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
