AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 and We gave him as his helper, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, having made him a prophet. 53 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,- 60 They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 That is the Paradise which We shall give the cautious worshipers to inherit. 63 We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful - 64 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, so serve Him and be patient in His service. Do you know any one equal to Him? 65
