Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits. 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 My Lord, save me and my family from their evil doings." 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 175
