The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
