The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 And weigh with a balance straight. 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 And most surely your Lord is Mighty, the Merciful. 191
