Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 But how are you to know? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
