Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
