Is he, then, whom We have promised an excellent promise which he is going to meet, like unto him whom We have suffered to enjoy awhile the enjoyment of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he shall be of those brought up! 61 And (remember) the Day when He will call to them, and say: "Where are My (so-called) partners whom you used to assert?" 62 Those about whom the Word will have come true (to be punished) will say: "Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray, as we were astray ourselves. We declare our innocence (from them) before You. It was not us they worshipped." 63 And it will be said: Call your associate-gods. So they will call upon them, but they will not answer them, and they shall see the punishment; would that they had followed the right way! 64 Upon the day when He shall call to them, and He shall say, 'What answer gave you to the Envoys?' 65 They will be left speechless on that Day, and they will not be able to consult each other. 66 But, as for he who repents and believes, and does good deeds, he will be among those who prosper. 67 And thy Lord createth whatsoever He listeth and chooseth; no choice is to be for them. Hallowed be Allah and exalted above that which they associate! 68 Your Lord knows all that their hearts hide or reveal. 69 And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned. 70 (O Prophet), tell them: "Did you consider: if Allah were to make the night perpetual over you till the Day of Judgement, is there a god other than Allah who can bring forth light for you? Do you not hear?" 71 Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see?" 72 In His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, during which you may rest, and seek His bounty and be grateful. 73 Upon that Day He will call to them saying: 'Now, where are those whom you alleged to be My associates' 74 And We shall take out from every nation a witness and We shall say: Bring your proof. Then they will know that Allah hath the Truth, and all that they invented will have failed them. 75
