Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
