Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
