The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
