Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
