۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
