And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
