Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
