Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination. 97 As for the really weak and oppressed men, women, and children who were not able to find any means of obtaining their freedom or of having the right guidance, 98 For these there is hope that Allah will forgive them, and Allah is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving. 99 ۞ Whoso emigrates in the way of God will find in the earth many refuges and plenty; whoso goes forth from his house an emigrant to God and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him, his wage shall have fallen on God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 100
