The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when souls are united, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
