Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
