The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Merciful One 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He has created man: 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 Husked grain and scented herb. 12 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
