[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed]. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend. 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 In that case We would have made you taste a double anguish of life and a double anguish of death, and then you would not have been able to find a helper against Us for yourself. 75 They had nearly expelled you from the land and driven you away from it. But then, they too would have stayed but a little after you. 76 Such was Our way with those whom We sent before you. You shall find no change in Our way. 77
