The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
