Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
