Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
