Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 they who give the lie to this divine writ and [thus] to all [the messages] with which We sent forth Our apostles [of old]? But in time they will come to know [how blind they have been: they will know it on Judgment Day,] 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 into boiling water, then, into the Fire they shall be poured. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 And certainly We sent apostles before you: there are some of them that We have mentioned to you and there are others whom We have not mentioned to you, and it was not meet for an apostle that he should bring a sign except with Allah's permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgment was given with truth, and those who treated (it) as a lie were lost. 78
