Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ And his companion shall say: 'Our Lord, I did not make him insolent, he was far astray' 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
