Believers, when you meet an army stand firm and remember Allah abundantly, in order that you are prosperous. 45 And obey God, and His Messenger, and do not quarrel together, and so lose heart, and your power depart; and be patient; surely God is with the patient. 46 And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do. 47 And recall what time the Satan made their works fair-seeming unto them and said: there is none of mankind to overcome you today, and verily I am your neighbour. Then when the two parties faced each other, he turned on his heels, and said: verily I am quit of you, verily I behold that which ye behold not; verily I fear Allah: and Allah is severe in retribution. 48
