Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
