The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
