The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
