The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
