۞ God says: 'Take not to you two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me.' 51 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and His the judgement for ever. So will you fear any other than God? 52 Whatever bounties you have are from God. When hardship befalls you, you begin to cry out to Him. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 In order to deny the favours We have given them; so enjoy a little; for you will soon come to know. 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 Hiding from the people because of the evil of the tidings; “Will he keep her with disgrace, or bury her beneath the earth?”; pay heed! Very evil is the judgement they impose! 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
