Abraham was a community in himself devoted to God and true in faith, He was not one of the polytheists; 120 Grateful for His blessings; Allah chose him and guided him to the Straight Path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 And lastly, We have inspired thee, [O Muhammad, with this message:] "Follow the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God; 123 The Sabbath was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it, and verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ. 124 Call to the Path of your Lord with wisdom and fine admonition. Dispute with them in the best manner. Your Lord is well aware of those who have gone astray from His Path and He is well aware of those who are guided. 125 If you want to retaliate, retaliate to the same degree as the injury done to you. But if you are patient, it is better to be so. 126 And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan. 127 God is certainly with the pious and the righteous ones. 128
