Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can lure away from God any 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
